About

I’m Hamza CHEGGOUR, a self-taught Digital Artist, Photographer, and Educator, specializing in Architectural Visualization, 3D Animation, and Landscape Photography.

My creative journey began in 1997, when I discovered the world of 3D graphics while still in school. By 2002, I was taking on freelance projects, and over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of assignments — from architectural and product visualization to more specialized content such as scientific animations, industrial safety videos, and energy sector communication.

Today, my work spans across three areas:

  • Freelance production for clients in architecture, engineering, and industry

  • Ready-to-use 3D models available for purchase

  • Training and coaching, through tutorials, educational content, and one-on-one sessions

In addition to visualization and animation, I offer:

  • Corporate and industrial films, including safety minute videos and internal communication pieces

  • 3D scanning services, using photogrammetry and laser scanning technologies for accurate digital replicas of objects, environments, and heritage elements

I’ve built my entire workflow using Linux and open-source software including Blender, GIMP, Kdenlive, and RawTherapee. This choice allows me to work with full independence and adaptability, while keeping costs transparent and sustainable for both myself and my clients.

On this platform, you’ll find a showcase of my work, comprehensive tutorials, and high-quality digital content. My tutorials distill years of self-taught expertise and problem-solving techniques, aimed at architects, engineers, and designers eager to enhance their visualization skills.

With the increasing popularity of AI-generated content, it’s easy to feel the difference between automated output and work that carries genuine creative intention. I believe in the value of a process that is customized, meaningful, and fully controlled — where decisions are guided by experience and artistic purpose rather than presets or algorithms. This approach ensures that every piece I produce or teach is aligned with the goals and identity of the person or project behind it.

I aim to make complex workflows simple, clear, and repeatable — whether I’m working with a client or teaching a student. My goal is not just to deliver results, but to help others understand how things work, why they work, and how to take control of their own creative process.

I’m currently expanding my practice into real-time environments and virtual reality, using Unreal Engine. While still early in this journey, I’m exploring new ways to bring interactivity and immersion to architectural and educational content. These tools will soon become part of my production and teaching workflow.

Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in working together, learning from my methods, or just want to connect.
