Tut: 3d Terrains
hi and welcome to this new tutorial !
this is a quick way on how to use procedural textures with displacement to generate terrains

the advantage of this technique is that you can generate highly detailed meshes without worrying about RAM, for instance in this scene I used only one plane mesh for the terrain and another one for the water, the rest is displacement magic !
this tutorial is most likely for intermediate level folks, but even if you are a beginner you can follow the step by step video below.
